Cleaning walls is often one of those household tasks that gets postponed indefinitely—it seems too time-consuming and labor-intensive. However, this simple cleaning hack transforms wall cleaning from a dreaded chore into a quick and manageable task. Using common household items and a clever approach, you can efficiently remove dust, fingerprints, and light dirt from your walls in a fraction of the time traditional methods require.
Ingredients
- 1 cup white vinegar
- 2 tablespoons Dawn dish soap (or any quality dish soap)
- 1 empty spray bottle
- 1 Swiffer mop (or similar flat mop)
- 1 clean dish towel or microfiber cloth
- Warm water for rinsing (optional)
Instructions
- Mix the white vinegar and Dawn dish soap in the spray bottle. Gently shake to combine without creating too many suds.
- Attach the clean dish towel or microfiber cloth to your Swiffer mop, securing it firmly.
- Working in sections, spray the vinegar-soap solution directly onto your walls. Don’t oversaturate—a light misting is sufficient.
- Use the towel-covered Swiffer mop to wipe the walls in a sweeping motion, applying gentle pressure.
