  • 1 lb (450g) lump crab meat, picked over for shells
  • ⅓ cup (40g) breadcrumbs (plain or panko)
  • 2 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 1 large egg, lightly beaten
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp Old Bay seasoning
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp parsley, finely chopped
  • Juice of ½ a lemon
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter, for frying
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil, for frying
