Homemade pizza dough

1. Activate the yeast:
– Dissolve the brewer’s yeast in a little water and add a tablespoon of flour. Let it sit until bubbles appear, which will be the sign that it is ready.

2. Prepare the dough:
– Mix the flour and water in a large bowl. Add the dissolved yeast and begin kneading. If you prefer a more rustic dough, you can add whole wheat flour. Finally, add salt and continue kneading until the mixture is smooth and elastic.

3. Be patient:
– Place the dough in a lightly oiled bowl, cover with a damp cloth or plastic wrap. Let it rest for about 2 hours until it doubles in size.

4. Assembly:
– After rising, divide the dough into 250g pieces (ideal for a round pizza). Roll out the dough on a floured baking sheet, starting from the center and leaving the edges thick.

5. Cooking:
– Preheat the oven to maximum temperature (250°C if possible). Season the pizza with tomato sauce, mozzarella and other ingredients to taste. Bake for 10 to 15 minutes until the edges are golden brown and the mozzarella is melted.

Final result:
Your pizza will be light and digestible, perfect for a meal with family or friends. Serve warm and stringy for an authentic Italian experience!

Making pizza dough at home is a culinary act of love that creates moments of joy and sharing. Enjoy!
