Creamy Cheesy Potato Gratin with Ham

Potatoes (thinly sliced)

Ham (cut into pieces or strips)

Salt & black pepper

Garlic (minced)

Butter
-
Cooking cream (heavy cream)

Milk
-
Grated cheese (Gruyère / mozzarella / cheddar)

Dried herbs or parsley
Method

Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F).

Butter a baking dish.

Arrange a layer of potato slices, season with salt, pepper, garlic.

Add some ham and cheese.

Repeat layers until ingredients finish.

Mix cream with a little milk and pour over everything.

Add cheese on top.

Bake 45–60 minutes until potatoes are soft and top is golden.

Let rest 5 minutes, then serve hot.
